| About This Hunt Hunt Country The country is large and lies in North Devon, with the Atlantic as its northern boundary. To the south west is the Tetcott Hunt; to the south the South Tetcott; to the south east the Eggesford; and to the east the Torrington Farmers. Hunt History The Hunt dates from 1859, before which it was known as the North Devon Hunt, under the Masterships of John Russell, Mr. Furse, and Mr. Moore Stevens. Under Mr. Paton and Mr. Eyton it was called the Stevenstone. Under The Hon. Mark Rolle, it was known by his name. After his death in 1907, the name Stevenstone was resumed.
